how to use glow in the dark paints.

Glow in the dark paint, or phosphorescent paint, is coating that will glow after it has been charged with light. We carry many types of glow in the dark paint such as water based acrylic, air dry lacquer, and plastisols which are used in screen printing on fabric.

The How To section allows give you enough information to get started using your glow paint. These are just guidelines and only trial and error in your environment would dictate a correct process.

How to use Risk Reactor's Glow in the Dark Paint.

U se Risk Reactor's Glow in the Dark Paint as you would any paint. Simply paint a surface and that surface will glow in the dark. The more you add the longer and brighter the glow. It is not needed but makes a big enough distance to try it.

How to see it glow!

To see the Risk Reactor's Glow in the Dark Paint work just put a light on the surface and turn off the lights. Putting more paint gives you a brighter and longer glow. The stronger the light the faster and brighter the charge. Our glow in the dark paints work best with Risk Reactor's Black Lights and UV LEDs for fast charging. The stronger the charge and the darker the viewing area gives you the biggest results. We have 11 colors and numerous types and each one glows different amount allowing you to be creative with an ever-changing artwork.

How to make stars on the ceiling.

The best two paints for making glowing stars on our ceiling are the STARPAINTVEGA and the STARPAINTSIRIUS water based glow in the dark paints. These are two part systems giving you an extra boost of star light energy. Use various size brushes to create different size stars. Our Star Paints also have a unique star like quality by glowing white instantly while under Risk Reactor's Black Lights and UV LEDs. This has the added benefit of charging your Star Paint so when you turn off the black light the stars will be at their brightest. Putting more Star Paint on the ceiling makes the stars brighter but also makes them more visible. You can use all of our paints to create a starscape like no other.

How to make glow in the dark fishing lures?

Risk Reactor's CP2 series paints are especially made for durability and abuse. We carry many colors of the glow in the dark paint which really help the fish bite. The CP2-06 Yellow Green and the CP2-10 Turquoise are used universally around the globe. We also carry Risk Reactor Glow in the Dark Pigments so you can mix colors and add colorants to our off the shelf line. If you are going to be mixing your own paint be sure to use the CN2 Clear Overcoat as your base.

How to see while your painting?

Be sure to use Risk Reactor's Black Lights and UV LEDs while your painting with our glow in the dark paint. This allows you to see what you are doing and plus it makes it fun to see the surface your painting come to life.
