SS-35X1PT Pint of SS-35X Fire Red Glow in the Dark Screen Fabric Plastisol Inks.Glow in the Dark Screen Inks, are specifically meant, for Screen Printing Glow in the Dark Silk Screen Printing Ink is produced by using the best Glow Powder with our special plastisol based Screen Inks.
Glow in the Dark Screen Printing Ink Instructions:
1.In order to get a better luminosity (glowing) effect of the printed patterns; use silk screen of below 200 meshes for screenprinting. Layering of the printing ink will be thicker and will obtain a better luminous effect. Using a silk screen of a lower mesh number is even better, the ideal screen is between 80~120 meshes.
2. To maximize the glowing period of the printed pattern, place a layer of white color under the layer of glow screen printing ink. It is easier if you print directly onto the white color material such as white t-shirts. Also, the thickness ranges between 130 to 150 µm will give you great results and should not be less than 100 µm. For example print the ink twice on 80-mesh silk screen.
Mix the SS Series Glow in the Dark Inks thoroughly before use. For longer print runs, we suggest to occasionally re-mix the SS Series ink for the more consistent results. White under-bases are a must for printing on dark garments. Without an under-base, you will sacrifice the glow intensity and longevity. With that being said, you still can put right on dark colors, but know it will make noticeable difference. For best results, we recommend a heavy flood and light to moderate squeegee pressure. Keep lids on the SS screen ink containers to avoid contamination of the ink and from drying out. These inks can be printed using 60 - 110 mesh screens, depending on the color and amount of glowing you are trying to achieve. The more you add the longer and brighter the glow up to a point of saturation. Cure ink at 320 degrees. Always test dryer temperatures prior to and during production. Curing time will be between 90 to 180 seconds, depending on the ink deposit thickness and color of garment. Clean-up with any standard plastisol ink cleaner. For best long term durability, wash inside out in cold water on the delicate cycle. Do not use bleach. Do not iron on print. Line or hang dry is best.
