Mixng Bases for Glow Pigments

These are the best mixing bases for our glow in the dark pigments and colorants. Simply mix 30% by weight as a starting ratio. You can easily do this by eye, the more pigment you put the brighter and longer the glow. If using right then, you can mix any pigment with any one of our clear bases CN1 the water based. Or the CN2 the oil based. Our nomenclature is PPSB for solvents and PPWB for water based. Now the PPSB can go into both if used at the time of mixing, but for storage of the PPSB mixed paint you want to use the CN2 oil base. One ounce of pigment makes about three ounces of paint. You know when you put too much pigment in the paint when the coating dries you can feel the sand like nature, this means you do not have enough coating to cover and protect the glow in the dark pigment. You can just use the CN1 or CN2 clear coat on top to protect it.
